Welcome to SVB T&E! Please follow the steps below to implement your organization.
Milestone One:
SVB Cards
The first step in setting up your new account is to make sure your card program has been connected. Your SVB card programs will be automatically connected for you 3-5 business days after your sign-up.
Reimbursements
To process reimbursable expenses through SVB T&E, you will need to connect a company bank account. Please review the following guides for details.

Accounting
Next, you will need to integrate your external accounting system with SVB T&E. These are the supported systems:
- QuickBooks Online
- NetSuite
- Xero
- Intacct
Please review the following guides based on your chosen system.

Data
Next, you need to set up your categories, team fields, and expense fields in SVB T&E. Please review the following guides for details.

Milestone Three
Expense Policy
SVB T&E lets you set as many expense policies, auto-approval rules, and approval routing rules as you require. Please review the following guides for details.
Milestone Four
Invite and Manage users
Now you're ready to invite all your employees to SVB T&E and have them accept their invitations. The following guides explain the process in depth.

Card Assignments
After you add users to your account, you'll need to ensure they are assigned to the proper cards, so the transaction data will flows into their account. Please review the following guides for details.

*Please note: This functionality is for customers with a Virtual Card Program. If you don't current use SVB virtual cards and are interested in learning more, reach out to your SVB relationship manager.
Milestone Five
Set Up Travel
If you'd like to set up the Travel booking portal in SVB T&E, follow the steps in Best Practices to Get Started with SVB Travel. To access the Travel portal, you will need to go to your user profile and turn the travel toggle to Yes. Going forward you'll see "Go to Travel" in your Personal left side navigation.
