SVB T&E is excited that you've decided to use our product to manage your company's expenses.
Administrators have access to both the Personal and Admin dashboards, which allows admins to monitor company spending and card activity.
This article gives you, a SVB T&E Administrator, an overview of a SVB T&E Account.
Admin Dashboard
When logging into SVB T&E, admins first see their SVB T&E Dashboard. Here Admins can get a quick overview of recent card activity, spending, and issue new cards.
Key features of the Admin Dashboard include:
- Month-over-month trend tracking for your card program and reimbursements
- Quick insights into pending approvals, unsubmitted expenses, and card utilization
- A central location for alerts and notifications related to account activity
- A task list highlighting items that need review or approval
- The ability to issue new cards directly from the dashboard
- Recent card activity for easy monitoring of transactions
The Question Mark allows admins to access the Resource Center, where users can follow SVB T&E's implementation guides, as well as provide feedback and read about feature updates.
Clicking on your Username opens a drop-down menu. From here, Admins can access their Personal Settings or Logout from SVB T&E.
Click the Gear icon to open the Company Settings page.
Company Settings
This screen is the centralized control of your organization's entire SVB T&E account. Here Admins can make changes to company information, manage card programs, set up your accounting sync, manage your categories, manage custom Team Fields and Expense Fields, and manage App Integrations.
Admins can also use the Company Settings page to connect a company bank account to issue reimbursements.
Admin Sidebar
In the sidebar on the left of the SVB T&E Homepage, click Admin to access the administrator dashboard.
You can use the Admin Sidebar to navigate to different pages within SVB T&E:
- Card Transactions: On this page, you will see all corporate card transactions from your team.
- Card Requests: On this page, you will see all card requests from your team.
- Team Cards: On this page, you can view all corporate card activity. You can manage your card programs, skip or submit on the employee's behalf, as well as send reminders to your team.
- Reimbursable Expenses: This page allows you to view and approve reimbursable expenses, which are expenses that employees have paid for themselves that the company needs to pay them back for.
- Trips: This page allows you to create and organize expenses related to a business trip. They help Admins monitor travel spend, as well as speed up the review and approval process.
- People: On this page, you can invite new employees, organize users into groups, change their permissions or deactivate an account.
- Expense Policies: On this page, you can build custom rules, routes, and display your organizations expense policy detail.
- Go To Travel: This page can be found on your Personal Sidebar and it opens to your Travel portal where you can book flights, hotels, and car rentals. When you book a trip, the invoice will automatically attach in your Receipts library in SVB T&E.
Personal Sidebar
This is similar to the Admin sidebar; however, all pages in this sidebar relate only to your own expenses or cards.
