The Team Cards page in SVB T&E allows administrators (admins) to review all SVB corporate credit cards in their organization. Admins will be able to get a high level overview of credit card spend in real time, and ensure all expenses are processed for reconciliation.
Accessing the Team Cards Page
As an admin, you can view all corporate card activity from the Team Cards page, visible in the admin menu.
Card Programs at a Glance
You will be able to toggle between all your connected SVB card programs at the top of the page. Your physical card program will show Card data by Cardholder.
Easily reassign a corporate card, using the "Edit" button to the right of the Cardholder.
If you're leveraging virtual cards, your virtual card program will show Card data in more detail by Cardholder. At a glance, see the card spend, limit and category of the virtual card.
Issue new virtual cards by clicking the "Issue New Card" button in the top right. For more details on virtual cards, please see Issuing Virtual Cards with SVB T&E.
Viewing and Managing Cardholder Activity
To see any corporate card transactions that have not yet been expensed in SVVB T&E, click the Unexpensed transaction count for that Corporate Card.
You will be transported to the 'Awaiting Details' tab of Transactions Page for that user's corporate card and be able to see all the transactions that have yet to be expensed.
From here, there are a few ways admins can manage their cardholders' expense activity in SVB T&E, to ensure all card transactions are processed in a timely manner for reconciliation.
- Remind: The 'Remind' button is located on the right side of each transaction and allows admins to send a reminder to the cardholder encouraging them to address their un-submitted expenses. Cardholders will receive the reminder in the inbox of the email address connected to their SVB T&E account. For information on setting up automated reminders, Click Here.
- Submit for the card holder: Some admins will choose to expense corporate card transactions on behalf of their users in order to ensure completeness when reconciling. Click the "Menu" button and either select 'View Details' to add more information prior to submission or select "Submit" to submit that expense. Expenses will then be sent through your designated approval process.
- Skip: The 'Skip' feature is only available to admins, and removes the expense from the user's expense list. We advise admins not to skip charges for their cardholders, unless these transactions are not necessary to reconcile. This might apply for instances such as statement payments, which are large negative balances.
Bulk-Skipping Card Transactions
To skip all transactions pulled into SVB T&E through a specific date, please navigate to the Card Programs page in your company settings and follow the steps below:
- Hover over the card program and select 'Manage Cards.'
- Select the 'Bulk Skip' option.
- Select the card(s) to skip transactions from.
- Set the date to skip transactions through. Any transactions made on the date selected will also be skipped.
Please note, once transactions are bulk-skipped, these cannot be retrieved.
