Why do we have an identity verification in the setup checklist in your SVB T&E account?
This security measure adds an additional layer of protection to your account.
How does it work?
Head to your Personal Settings page underneath your username and click into the 'Account Information' tab. Scroll to the bottom, and click the “Verify Account” button. You’ll be prompted to enter in your name, address, and last four digits of your social security number.
Errors and Troubleshooting
You will get two tries to verify your identity in your SVB T&E account. If you are not successful on your first try, you can go back into your Account & Settings tab and click on the “Verify” button again. It will lead you through the same process one more time.
Here are a few tips in case you aren’t able to verify the first time:
- Make sure you’re using your legal name
