SVB T&E is introducing new card-issuing permissions for the Manager role that will allow Admins to delegate card-issuing and overseeing tasks to Managers. This feature must be enabled by Admins before Managers can issue or manage cards.

Issuing Cards
Managers can Issue New Cards from their Emburse Spend Dashboard.
Step 1: Click "Issue New Card".
Step 2: Fill out the required fields, then click "Issue Card".
Approving Requested Cards
Managers can Approve, Deny, or forward the card request to their Admin from the Card Request Page.
Step 1: Click on a card request or the "Approve" button to open the Request Details.
Step 2: Managers can choose from the following options:
- Deny
- Issue Card
Please Note: Admins will continue to have full visibility and access to all pending requests even if they are pending a manager’s approval.
Managing Team Cards
Once Card Issuing is enabled, Managers are then responsible for the ongoing management of issued cards.
On the Team Cards page, Managers can manage any cards issued to Employees of their company.
Managers can select the three-dot icon to Edit, Cancel, or view Card Details.
Tracking Team Spend
Managers will also have access to the Spend Dashboard to track their teams' spend.
Please Note: Managers only have access to their assigned Employee's data in the dashboard.
